GRP composite in the form of Fiberline profiles is the building material of the future for maintenance-free cooling towers. The profiles can be used both for new builds and for renovating existing cooling towers where the construction is corroded.

Minimal maintenance and long service life
Fiberline GRP profiles are weatherproof and therefore ideally suited for cooling towers, where the structure is continuously exposed to the action of water. GRP profiles have long service life and require only cosmetic attention. Structural maintenance costs are therefore minimal compared with conventional materials such as concrete, aluminium, steel and wood.

Easy machining and assembly
GRP composite can be machined as quickly as wood, also on site using ordinary tools. Due to the low weight of the profiles, machining processes and assembly are simple and straightforward.
 

 Non-corrosive and weatherproof
Fiberline profiles, gratings and planks are resistant to UV rays and chemicals. In partnership with selected suppliers, Fiberline has compiled a chemical durability list that indicates profile performance in corrosive environments. Fiberline planks and moulded gratings are available with a non-slip quartz sand surface for application in wet areas.
