The plant in China will initially focus on servicing existing wind turbine customers, but an ongoing expansion of activities in both wind power and Fiberline’s other business segments has already been planned.

The new plant will be located in the Tianjin region which has already evolved into a centre for the Chinese wind power industry and is the perfect base for servicing both existing and future customers.

The opening date for the new plant will be announced during Fiberline’s participation at CHINA WIND POWER 2009 in Beijing on 21 – 23 October, and supplies from the plant are expected to commence in 4th quarter 2009.
