On 15 June 2009, His Royal Highness Prince Henrik presented Fiberline Composites A/S with the award ”Kong Frederik den Niendes Hæderspris” for outstanding services to Danish exports. The company, which has tripled its exports in the past five years, has gained a foothold in the export market by producing environmentally sustainable, energy-efficient products which are in heavy demand both nationally and internationally.
Fiberline Composites A/S has been manufacturing high-tech composites since its foundation in 1979. The company’s products offer an effective alternative to conventional construction materials for purposes such as bridges, buildings, windows, facades, and wind turbines. Fiberline Composites is based in the town of Middelfart in central Denmark.

In this age of energy-saving technology, Fiberline Composites has gained a market foothold with the fabrication of high-insulation window frames and building facades. Using Fiberline’s products, heat losses can be reduced by up to 70% compared with modern, traditional-type, low-energy windows. This facilitates the construction of low-energy buildings and passive houses.
