Laboratory and test facilities

Fiberline’s R&D department develops, improves and refines the company’s products and manufacturing processes, and researches potential new areas of application for composites

Corrosion laboratory Analyses performed by the Corrosion Laboratory are primarily used for accelerated tests that indicate product behaviour over time when exposed to sunlight, water and other influences

Fire laboratory Some Fiberline profiles have fire retardancy properties. Fiberline performs fire-technical tests in house and also works with external fire laboratories

Advanced technical analyses We measure thermal conductivity (“lambda value”). We also study fibre orientation and perform DSC analyses

 

Mechanical laboratory Fiberline is equipped to perform mechanical testing of profiles

Electrical laboratory The electrical properties of Fiberline profiles are tested and verified using our laboratory’s dielectric strength tester and high voltage facility

Chemical laboratory In our chemical laboratory we examine and optimize materials and material combinations
