Manufacturers of electrical panels save both time and money by using finished profiles that are ready to assemble
“With profiles made of glass-fibre reinforced plastics, also known as GRP, builders of electrical panels can save money, time and materials as the profiles secure the busbars and also provide effective insulation. The excellent tracking properties of GRP enable busbars to be mounted directly on the profile,” says Kent Stensgaard, head of Fiberline Composites’ Components Department.
”We supply not only standard products that can be modified by the customer, but also specially made, finished solutions designed and executed in close partnership with the customer,” says Kent Stensgaard.
“Fiberline Composites supplies ready-to-assemble profiles, cut to length and provided with all the holes and cutouts,” adds Kent Stensgaard, who heads a 25-strong team engaged solely on machining Fiberline’s hightech products.
“We have the flexibility to manufacture the profiles exactly the way the customer wants. We can produce both simple and complex geometries that save our customers time and reduce the number of other components used in their own production,” says Kent Stensgaard.
As the final touch, the profiles are supplied in the surface finish and colour specified by the customer.
Fiberline is equipped with both 5-axis and 3-axis CNC machining centres, and our capabilities are regularly expanded through the addition of new plant and software.
Fiberline’s Component Department can machine profiles in sizes from 100 mm - 8,000 mm (X-axis) and from 700 mm - 1,200 mm (Z-axis).
