Fiberline GRP panels are used by several European train manufacturers to obtain a number of quality and cost benefits.

GRP panels resist electrochemical corrosion and surface denting, and are extremely durable with regard to wear and impact damage caused by objects such as flying stones. While keeping maintenance requirements at a minimum, Fiberline GRP profiles also absorb noise and vibrations, thus making a valuable contribution to passenger comfort.

GRP panels reduce weight by approximately 30% in comparison with traditional materials. Lower weight  means lower fuel consumption, faster acceleration, and enables higher speeds. Weight reduction also increases load capacity, while reducing wear on equipment.

The fire-technical properties of GRP panels meet current standards.

Fiberline GRP panels are supplied lacquered and ready for use. Often very long, the profiles are precision machined at the Fiberline production facility on high-speed, 5-axis CNC equipment.
