The bridge is of a complicated design consisting of two arches which each lean approximately 10 degrees inward. There are no simple, perpendicular elements in the bridge, which is composed of small, straight elements.
The bridge is made of Fiberline structural profiles and assembled using Fiberline acid-resistant stainless steel fittings. For the bridge deck Fiberline planks with non-slip surfaces were used. Fiberline structural profiles meet the requirements of the EN13 706.
The composite pedestrian bridge in Lleida, Spain, is with its free span of 38 m the longest of its kind in Europe. The bridge crosses a high-speed railway line and a parallel highway.
